Rear quarter window adjustment?!

Recently been in-there on my 1965 Dart 2 DR hdtp GT. I had removed the window mechanism for painting and restored the parts (derusted, painted, lubed). You must remove the rear seat and door panel. First, insure the front door and glass is adjusted. Adjust the front rail mounts so the rear window mates perfectly with the front window aft weatherstrip. The rear window can flop in the side direction when fully up, when supported just by the mechanism. The roof-rail weatherstrip controls it in that direction. The roof-rail weatherstrip has a guide track at its aft end, so if degraded it can't direct the rear window. Roof Rail rubber is very pricey for these cars ($220). I haven't replaced mine yet and will first try a generic one from Metro ($2.50/ft, shows works for 1967 Fairlane).
