all the real men are dying off and all we will have left are weirdo's who are putting POS Gen 3's or the new even bigger POS HurriCrate in the classic mopars......such a shame.
Some guy nearby me, bought a one family owned '68 Charger with a 318. 88K miles on the odo, owner said it was original miles. Really pretty car, inside and out. 100% stock. Still had the iron exhaust manifolds when purchased. Guy put a 5.7 hemi in it. My brother bought the 318 and even got the original gear selector from the center console as part of the deal , since the dude wanted some modern whatzit selector.
Yes, yes, I know... it's that guy's car, he can do whatever he wants to with it. However, the OP is right, it's a shame what is becoming of classic Mopars.
P.S. I'll refrain from calling that guy a weirdo, though. He has two modern Mustang's , one is twin turbo and the other supercharged. He'll talk cars for hours. Modern cars, that is.
