Lacy is a shithole, just like every other State Capital adjacent town. Like the guys said, eastern WA or even just a little further south of where you are now. Elma, Pe ELL, Centralia, Tenino are nice.
Even Centralia has its bad spots now, you have to live far from the 5. My manager lives there.
I love Elma but the rent is the same as Lacey. I’m still considering it, so it’s not as big of a change for my family. I do like my job as well, the people, but I’m not making enough.
