You guys weren't kidding...The stock bumpers on my Scamp are fricken HEAVY. OMG!
I'm in the process of swapping my bumpers and trunk lid over to Glasstek parts. I just had to know what these bumpers weighed before I put them up for sale.
38lbs on the rear bumper w/brackets; and 18lbs for the front + 12lbs for the brackets. 68lbs in bumpers!
The Glasstek bumpers + Lingenfelter brackets weigh a total of 8lbs for both F & R - for a net reduction of -60lbs. I'll take it!
Can't wait to weigh the stock trunk lid vs the fiberglass version. I should be around 2980lbs as-is, not counting the trunk.
