The older son that fell off the bike last spring and broke his arm and leg needs surgery on his ACL...
I've been telling everyone to get it done before the end of the year since he came to visit in October... Since he has paid so much out of pocket towards his insurance this year, maybe he will max out and they will cover it...
Well... Last weekend his mother tells us that he has met his maximum out of pocket costs for the year and it will all be covered by insurance if we can get it done before new year... :BangHead:

So I've been jumping through hoops to get that arranged... I found a local ortho that specializes in sports injuries and they may be able to squeeze him in during December, but they are getting booked up... :mob:
Yesterday we got the request forms turned in to the doctor in NC where his MRI was done so they can send the CD in the mail and report from it to the doctor up here... Luckily the lady in the medical records office stayed a little later than she planned yesterday and forwarded our paperwork to the proper people to get that done today as she's off today...
His initial appointment with the local ortho here is on wednesday next week...
