True that. Wen my FIL was alive we got a occasional mince meat pie. One of my favorites. He once complained about not getting raisin creme pie very often so I made a coupke and brought them for Christmas. I think I impressed him with those. (and he was a hard one to impress)
Kinda strange concoction. I am pretty sure mince meat pie I had as a kid actually had meat in it. I haven’t had any recently, but I don’t think many people actually put meat in it anymore.
