I personally find "real" Les Pauls too heavy and awkwardly balanced.

I do have two Epi "Specials", though.....and an SG.

I find myself playing the SG a LOT.

les pauls...I can appreciate them purely in a sense of the tone, something about the short scale and effortless pinch harmonics. I wouldnt play one all the time though I'm a Strat guy... Tele a close second.
