Those look like headliner retainer clips. Thrown on to hold it in place 'till any glue dries and/or get the headliner trim into place. View attachment 1716024177
Thanks for responding... That makes sense and could be their purpose... Not sure if it matters, but I had the "cardboard" headliner... When I put my new headliner in I'll definitely use them in the way you're saying...
