I often struggle trying to keep the motor from turning over (torquing crank bolt, flywheel, flex plate) by sticking a bar or large screwdriver in places they don't belong. I had my local fabricator/welder make me up a tool to take care of that task for me under most circumstances. However, when I got the tool home, I found we forgot all about providing a hole so I can tighten the crank bolt to specs (see photo #1). The remedy will be to cut out a 2 1/2" hole in the tool (should work better with that modification) (see photos #2 & #3).
