Stop in for a cup of coffee
So I drop the prescriptions off at the pharmacy and get a bite to eat and come back...
I'm not gonna give the name of his insurance company, but BCBS wouldn't cover the Narco prescription because they need it to be 'preapproved'...
We called last week to get the surgery preapproved, they didn't see it coming that he would need a couple of prescriptions afterward... :wtf: :realcrazy:
On the phone with them (while in the pharmacy parking lot) sand I get transferred to three different people and have to explain the situation to each of them separately... :BangHead:
Then they say that it may take a day or two to get the prescription approved... :wtf: :icon_fU: :realcrazy:
The third one says that she cannot discuss this with me because he's an adult and they need his permission to talk to me... Hey b!tch, he's in alot of pain at home trying to get some sleep... :elmer:
I tell her that I can't wait to do their satisfaction survey so I can rate them low on all questions...
Funny when the survey came up, I got the intro, then it said that I do not qualify to give feedback and disconnected on me... They must have flagged me so I didn't hurt their ratings...
I told them that their name ending in BS was very appropriate... :icon_fU:
So as half hour on the phone to Blue Cross and it went nowhere... I was able to use my Good Rx card and they approved it on the spot without having to get any preauthorization or questions and the pain med only cost me $12... :thankyou:
So the moral of the story is: "F*ck Blue Cross prescription coverage and get a Good Rx card"... :usflag:
