66 Dart Radiator Hose

I am looking for a replacement radiator hose for my 1966 Dart with the 273 motor. It has factory AC. Rockauto and other retailers suggest Gates 20168 but when I try this hose in kinks in the middle after making the connection. Any suggestions to other hoses? Or how I could prevent this one from kinking?
