70 duster project
Getting back in the grove hopefully, got the 340 a Christmas present. After a lot of looking and thinking, and talking to members. I went ahead and got a new cam and springs to go with the 2.02 valves.
Got the block and heads to the machine shop hoping he look at them this week. Cut the valves and bowls. Then I can do some porting and gasket matching. I. The heads, and have to take the valve guides down for the new springs. There’s no speed shops around here with flow benches, that I know about. Looking at a lot of charts those 596 heads should go, 250/165 meybe 260/ 170. And See what to do with that cylinder. The fender is shipped according to the email, haven’t heard anymore and I can’t track it yet.
