Again: Unleaded or leaded fuel for mid 70's /6?

I dropped off a set of J heads at a machine shop right before new years . I mentioned hardened valve seats the machininst was like "you don't need em..." I said "good , I've seen them drop out of aluminum heads and cause all kinds of problems."
