I just came up on this video on the new pistol brace rule. It is so concerning that I thought that the gun owning community of this forum should hear about it. The host of Guns and Gadgets, Jared, is interviewing an attorney from GOA (Gun Owners of America), I believe his name is Steven Stambalia. Anyways, he says that the biggest issue that he sees right now is that the ATF has a policy on their Form 1 and Form 4 that if they cannot complete a background check on you withing 88 days you automatically get denied, and your ATF form 1 will not go through. He claims that if the ATF receives millions of applications, that it will just clog the system and most all the SBR Form 1's will not get approved, because they will not be able to complete the background checks in 88 days, and that at this point in time you are a felon with an SBR. He says that he went and talked to an ATF representative and asked them what they will do with Form 1's that get denied. He says that the ATF rep told him that all the denied forms will be sent to ATF enforcement, so basically you will be in deep doo doo facing 10 years in jail and $250,000 in fines. Remember that you admitted to having an illegal SBR and sent them all the evidence they need, including photos and your address... Remember that I am only the messenger, please do not kill the messenger... Here is the video:
