Ok fellas...318 help needed , Mpg , reliability and enough power ***for a big boat !!!

That thing will probably get better mileage with a stock 383HP than a mild 318. It'll take way more of what the 318 has to move it compared to a larger engine. Volumetric efficiency and all that stuff.
