They are. I had a double life for a small block I rebuilt. Tried to sell it for years on here and no one ever bit. I sold it to Garrett Ellison. It had the standard cap on it but it did still have the BIG Mallory condenser and it tested good.

Those condesers are not cheap and you can get a nos one that is bad also. I finally broke down and got a good condenser tester. Tell you what it make the condenser cycle right.
