Sometimes when a manufacturer did not have the part they needed to supply to their clients, they would buy from a competitor and box it or it also might be a new OEM part in the box. The aim of the manufacturer is to be sure that they can supply the part numbers to their clients.
That makes sense.
Did they put that AR stamp and note on the box because they knew the part might not look quite the same as their own?
Seems very forthcoming they would mark the box like that. Kindof the opposite of what we too often see now.
