I remember being at the track and a friend came down with his SRT neon stage 3.

He asked if I thought his car would run the 10's. I said yes, all of them. All of them, he responded. Yes, and all of the 11's, al of the 12's, all of the 13's and some of the 14's. He didn't much like or believe that.

He ran a 14.0x. I was nice enough to not say I told you so.

I had a friend at work (about 1985) put a 350 chevy in a full sized buick stock gear and street tires he ran a 15.0 with it and everyone at work laughed at him. I told him the next ones to laugh take them out and race them. He kicked all their asses. Remember mid 80's Z28, TransAm's etc. He got the last laugh.
