When I dug the dart out after 39 years of hibernation one of the items on the TO DO list was take gas tank out check it and get it steamed out. For some reason it got parked with 3/4 tank of #1 in it. Pulled the tank dumped the gas into pails boy did it stink took sending unit out looked inside couldn’t believe what I saw got a flashlight looked again the thing was like brand new not a speck of rust any where. Still can’t believe it. But that gas would hardly burn had to hold a flame on it for a while to get it to go
