“Max effort daily driver” 318 build vs “Budget” 400 swap
Th general difference STOCK between the old 383 and the little newer 400 was compression. I have had many stock Roadrunner 383s 68-71 and some early 400s. Either would make a fun driver. The 400 is a great base for more hp update later. Sorry, I guess I am just a big block guy. All previous arguements here for the 400 make sense.
