I use truck mounts when I need to raise the engine for clearance with some headers .

The truck V8 biscuits are only marginally thicker than stockers, depending on brand I have seen some almost identical in thickness. The Cummins diesel mounts are the ones that are substantially thicker- but they match up well to the early A mounts ('66 and earlier).
