Go with the Crower cam saver lifters and a zinc oil additive and stop worrying about cam failures.
As as side note forget the 360 2 BBC cam get something better.

Oh i believe you its just that i wqs planning to rebuild a stock 318 2bbl on an engine stand with very light mods but not enough to have a 500 lift cam , rather have a 400ishh cam with a 2bbl than a big cam and too much of small carb and compression etc
