I don't think it will run ANY harder with 3.73s than 3.55, and rpm will be a little less under cruise conditions.
If you want more than 3.55, I'd go to 3.91s. They work good in my car, but it's 90%strip car.
I guarantee you won't want, or need, more than 3.91s.
