Making Easter soup tomorrow morning, it requires fresh horseradish. FIL has a patch growing beside basement wall and chimney never freezes there, dug out a bunch. One root for the soup and decided to make prepared horseradish for myself. Got food processor out, cleaned and chopped up radish. Well you think onions make your eyes water that **** takes your breath away, nose leaking, eyes burning. Lmao. Just a warning if you do this BE CAREFUL!!!! Dangerous ****.
I remember picking wild horse radish when I was a kid in the UK. We'd usually have roast beef on a sunday. There were railroad tracks at the bottom of the garden and I'd climb the fence as it grew along the tracks.
It was quite hot but I never liked it but remember the watering eyes when I was cutting it up. Still don't like it
