I remember picking wild horse radish when I was a kid in the UK. We'd usually have roast beef on a sunday. There were railroad tracks at the bottom of the garden and I'd climb the fence as it grew along the tracks.
It was quite hot but I never liked it but remember the watering eyes when I was cutting it up. Still don't like it
Myself I love the taste, store bought has very little heat and little flavour. The horseradish I ground this morning is to be respected lots of flavour and mega heat will be awesome with sirloin tip roast and Yorkshire puddings
