Sometimes we need to look on the other side of the fence for inspiration. Sometimes things work and sometimes they do not. I'm glad you don't take it personal, cause it's not.
Just inserting my 2 cents like you did on what YouTube porters are "inspirational" aka interesting... to me.Eric and Chad are also interesting to watch. Methods and their end results can be very short windowed.
Some of these big names do not have obscure head mastery most of the time..so if that's your deal you'll look elsewhere..but yeah it can still apply. Whatever is is...it has to be of complimenting shape or it can hurt.
