I used to work with a guy, and the textbook definition of an Appalachian American
One day i noticed he had a wierd eating pattern...he would only eat every other day
being nosy as I am, I called him out on it one day and said "what's the deal?"
He looked me dead in the eye said 'Me and my old lady take turns with the dentures, when it is my day, I take them to work and eat, when it is her day, she takes em and eats'
We have a university here in town that teaches dentistry. If you don't mind students working on your teeth the charge is a lot less probably half anyway
