1965 Dart GT "Charger 273"
Thought I lost this tag but found it today and put it back on the car.
6265FenderTagDecode.pdf (earlycuda.org) Found this decode link for early Cudas and it tells a story of how the tags were screwed on the cars with only one screw while primered and pryed up so that a line inspector could make sure it matched the build going on. Common practice at Lynch Road plant, optional at others. Mine has all the signs of this procedure with a corner still primered and the bend missing the paint from fatigue. LA plant guy had crimped his mark in it. A "G" in the void area. Amazing the stuff that keeps me amused having no responsibility. Still trying to learn what the 9 means under the 0 on the first line. The only mystery left Sherlock.
