Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning!
4° and a high of 18°. Can work with shop door open again. Saw mosquitoes. Dammit.
Yesterday a friend/customer shows up with his lincoln, left tire wearing faster than the right. Bolt on power steering rack is loose. It backed out and siezed. No way to get at it. Well me being the mechanic i am,not wanting to drop the frame decided to make a wrench. I had to fight to get bolt out, cut hole in k member to repair threads. Always a battle.
I won. Once the rack was tight, i found a loose ball joint on right side. Think it could cause the left tire to wear? I guess i will fight with alignment after i replace the ball joint.
