Stop in for a cup of coffee

Thanks Matt. I have 18° at the crank with timing light at idle. Then 36° all in with timing light about 2400 ish IIRC. The bottom chart shows all in by 1750 ish. So i am in slower than that. That is super fast!
That's a Mopar Performance Race Distributor (tach drive).
I drove that on the street for a while.
No problem really, but did hurt milage.

Also a little quirk in the design seems to have been a goal priority of easy starting when hot.
So on the engine I could never measure initial. Best I could do was measure around 800 to 1000 rpm. But advance began at something like 500 rpm as verified when measured on the Sun machine.
If I was to set one up today, I'd set it up for a more stable idle.
