Eitehr way unless its only happening above 2200 rpm , I don't think the vac advance is the culprit with the dead spot.

Maybe its contributing to the problem a little but be surprised if the carb setup is not a part of the issue
I do believe it is mostly in the carb, I am just now questioning the speed of curve tie with what you have shown. It does only happen from 2700-3200 ish and the sudden cruise to WOT. Both of those are 95% better with no vacuum advance and both bleeds open. Bleeds are for 1/16" or 1/18" hose, whatever size is typical vacuum advance diameter hose. Just polling the masses wondering if reconnecting the advance would be a good idea or just leave as is running as good as it ever has
