He’s Dow to 650 now and I think that’s doable. Remember my heads are over 10 years old and an old open chamber set of heads. Not one fancy part in my engine and my next set of heads will be much better. At .650 lift that has room to grow too. Over 600 horsepower on a budget is a cakewalk with a small block in todays world with 30 year old technology. Just like 750-800 horsepower with a big block is. Our factory blocks if used are our limits.
Are you saying you think you could get 650 out of an edelbrock or speedmaster? I dont want to imply its impossible I would just have to see it to believe it. The port cross section is pretty small with the pushrod still in the port.
