RM43 is good stuff. 43 percent glyphosate (think RoundUp) with imazipyr added. The imazipyr is what gives it the residual kill. It lasts about a year. Avoid spraying within the drip line of desirable trees, may cause some damage. Neither of the ingredients are particularly harmful to wildlife or marine life. Still use common sense when spraying around water.

I use a similar product called Ortho-clear (I think is the name). Same actives as RM43. I spray with the pre-emergent as well just for added residual.
