You must charge the battery with a charger now.
If you don't, the wiring will be subject to at least 30 amps with the engine running running at fast idle.
As this member found out the hard way here, the wiring will be damaged by the high current a nearly dead battery will draw. He saw this on the ammeter but unfortunately did not recognize what it meant.
