My baby V8 is currently at about $1,500 in parts:

Engine was $300...
D4B intake -$400
4BBL Air cleaner $100
Balancer $30
Fan $20
Fan Spacer $20
Heads (rockers, springs, rods) $400
Complete gasket set $50
Forged crank $200

A few hunge in "special" tools... -ISH

Machine shop costs will be interesting to determine.... Hot tank the block... Have to find someone yet.

If I have to go with overbore....welll then bets are off.

Piston ring set at .020 will be about $600

Still need wiring harness (estimate $300) ignition stuff (Hop) and radiator ($600 +/-)
