A different perspective on "THE BLACK GHOST" by UTG.

First, I haven't read hardly any of this thread (yet).
My thought is that this car's rep is mostly hype. A virtually stock hemi challenger is NOT gonna be some street terror, not then, and certainly not now
Street terrors in the 70s were Addisons silver bullet, Lisk's street driven prostock challenger, and Ruggieros 505" mustang II. Tens or better, all, back when tens were fast! Any of them would trainlength a stock hemi Street car.
That said, the car probably increased $100-200k for the reputation, and if the new owner realizes it's hype, and doesn't care, and can afford the car.... more power to him! Have fun! Just don't hide it in the garage as an investment.
