Fueling issue

Go to Pure-gas.org - ethanol-free gasoline in the U.S. and Canada
find a station near you. Run your tank down to as close to empty as you can.
fill up run it down again and fill up again.
then report back.

that was just ideling in park after a drive. That's on standard alcohol pump gas.



on hot days if the under hood temps got up there from sitting in a drive through lane, I would have to take it super easy once i hit the road again.

the main symptom would be pulling away from the first stop light under normal acceleration, the engine would start to die, if I lifted the pedal it would recover and if I took it easy for the next 30 seconds or so it would be fine after that.

after I switched to alcohol free gas never had the problem again.

there are things that can be done like a fuel vapor return line and a 3 nipple fuel filter designed for the purpose.

put a higher pressure fuel pump in and regulate right at the carb.
