Goal tonight was to get the speedo cable out and hook the chains to the motor for pulling... got that done... and the engine out, pulled the engine separate from the trans... engine is locked but no battle getting the converter off which surprised me :) Converter looks like new.. i expect a ton of rust and garbage from sitting 45 years.. might call A&A or Cope to see if they will sell me the correct parts to convert to 24 spline so i'm not just guessing.
Also need to find someone to haul away the poly..
