I did mine how you describe above. If you do go with outriggers, I'm recommend having them land on a small piece of 1/8" plate against the inner rocker instead of just welding them to the rocker sheet metal.

What did you do to fix any wide gaps ? Just weld some sheet metal to the floor and to the 2 by 3 .
This is a bigger pain in the butt than I expected, passenger side should be better though.
I'll keep the 1st subframe connector as a template since I hit it with the cut off wheel a few times. I'll be glad when this is done lol
