A833 in GM trucks?

I wonder if the overall length of a gm Th350 bell housing and shorter than a standard Mopar 7 3/8?

That would make sense, because this shaft is about 1 inch too short

The bearing retainer is also larger but the snub shaft is smaller which doesn’t make much sense
