Seems I'm going to hit pause for a bit while I sort things out. Have one more shop to call and walk through possible costs and timelines. The two I've spoken with are both about 2 - 3 months out...just whether they want it in the shop to be in line or you set a deposit to bring it in at a later date. End result is I wouldn't have anything back until maybe September or October
That doesn't surprise me. The shop in Dela that rebuild the AMC 360 I brought them was a couple months IIRC. If I had got there earlier in the say, it would have been faster but two guys came in before me.
Heads - don't even get me started. A good shop is always backlogged and if they do anything more than stock racers are always being squeaky wheels except maybe in early winter...
