Ford 272 C.I. runs low 11's. Why do Mopar guys need 408's?

i'm betting a lot of guys would love that .204 / .214 cam in their 14" tire 3.23 geared 340 or 360 A body.
A blast to drive from idle to 4800 rpm!
...and i can hear all the murmurs!
