What's Up With My Mater Plants?

Yep, it depends what and where you read. Our garden is in the middle of the back yard and get's sun from about 10am-7 or 8 pm. In August when it gets quite hot, the plants will get a bit crispy but still produce fruit. No moving mine to the shade. Our gardens were always in full sun.
Yes, you are blessed with a nice back yard for that great garden, here as you know no friggin way to get close to 8 hours, and like you said, it depends where you read or watch utube gardening, all are going to be quite different, but I have shown here 5 hours is all mine need, it was 9:40 when I took the picture, as you see they had no direct sunlight yet, they get direct sunlight from 10 am to 3:30 pm, it sure has helped with watering
