No not really but it’s done every day of the week hundreds of times. Port the heads, screw the intake. I ran one dual plane intake in 47 years of playing with cars. And that was an LD4B on my 360 that I towed with. Guys are afraid of single plane intakes.
My last car was a 400 with a purple shaft an a torker 1 or 2.. the one that's not on a weird angle.. loved that setup... if i have clearance i will prolly get a victor later or something else when i go stroker.
