Here's a cool little 273/292 build for the 273 guys.
I like how every time something doesn't fit with peoples preconceived notion it must be a lie.
Why would this engine builder lie, is a 360 hp 273/292 gonna sell them a ton of heads and crate engines, sure they could be.
Did you put that up in the magazine build section?
My answer to your quoted reply and question is;
“Because some people are dishonest, don’t calibrate their dyno, give a “Best used in” application, kind of stuff in addition to what others have experienced at their dyno operators machine. Sometimes, things look to good to be true.
This forum has had several head porters and engine builders that have had their work on display and for sale here only to be exposed as less than advertised and sometimes in a big way. So trust is diminished and demand for accurate information is demanded before belief is obtained. Even down to items for sale as simple as an intake manifold with close up pictures and up to engines with running video of it which can also be misleading.
@replicaracer43 has shown us in the past and a shout out to his philanthropic hand helped a fella here big time.
Sometimes, many times, when something looks to good to be true, it usually is.
Now I’m not calling this engine builder out on anything. But I’m not buying it or purchasing it. I’m going after the larger engine and if it is a create engine, it’ll be a BluePrint from member
@Johnny Mac how can tell you all about there operations & results. Johnny Mac has been nothing but upstanding, helpful and gracious.
(I’m also happy to have helped in his B body project just a tiny bit.)
His company is a trusted source.
PIE? Same rep? Ahhh, No. Not from what I have read. Sorry.
