Anyone running a th400 in their a body?

There are a lot of reasons to run the th400. Strength and cost isn’t one of them. Converter selection, aftermarket case, and ease of finding parts are. I am considering switching myself and looked at this thread to see whats involved. For your info my stock case 727 built by Protrans cost me 5k and the only converter available are welded units, so I have a dice 10”. So far my 3400 pound Dart has gone 5.20’s at 137 with 4% slip. But I want an aftermarket case and better converter (bolt together) options. I am also looking at a Lenco/Bruno set up. TH400 trans set up like my 727 cost over 10k.
