Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yeah, I assumed that they are all retired or dead. Just wondering what your experience may have been with them......
I have a good friend who was Vietnam Marine Recon. He did back to back tours 67 and 68 in Vietnam. He wanted to stay another tour but they made him go back to the US. He did for six months and then came back for a third tour. In late 80's he asked me if I wanted to go with him to Afghanistan working for the CIA supporting them fighting Russia....WTF no I'll pass. It fell through he never went.

I have another close friend SF got wounded going into Grenada and medically discharged. He then did 25 years with the DEA and spent five continuous years in the South American jungle with our 90's War on drugs. I met him working on a task force late 90's and had a great time still a close friend. Fast forward he retired and got hired on a team with the CIA going three months at a time to the desert for recon stuff...BS!!. They'd go and I'd read about a major figure killed. One day he said they had an opening and asked if I was interested, I passed. They are a special bunch to work with never a dull moment.
