Where to get replacement 1972 5/16" vapor return line?
I have a 1972 Plymouth Duster and am trying to replace the vapor return line. Mine is 2 piece, 5/16" OD and all pre-bent manufacturers seem to say the line should be 1/4". I see listing of 5/16" for 1971 and wondering if that is the line my car has for some reason. For mine the line routes with the fuel line and terminates in the engine bay close to the firewall with the end being vertical. From there the rubber hose goes to the charcoal canister. Can anyone help verify:
1) Where the pre-bent 1/4" lines available terminate in the ending bay?
2) Where a 1971 5/16" vapor line terminates within the engine bay?
I have attached a photo of mine looking down from the passenger fender to show how it terminates. Also note that from what I can tell there is some kind of check valve in the front fuel line as it rattles when you shake it.
Worst case I can get a roll and try to bend my own but was hoping to be able to get a pre-bent line but I would prefer it to terminate in the same location and use the same attachment points.
