Many Mopars from around 65-73 with bright colored paint, were spray bombed black where you could see color through the grills. This was done at the factory. But no rhyme or reason as to why some did not get it. The 68 RR and the 68 GTS I restored were both black behind the grills, but not the entire rad support. Only where they thought you would see. Most dark colored cars did not get this treatment...
