Maybe i am being too picky? The hose hangs down a bit but isn't in danger of hitting anything and doesn't bind..

As seen doesn't look right to me. My memory sux these days but I think,
The OEM hoses were routed diagonally behind the shock to a caliper located at the forward 1-3 o'clock position on the rotor.
I personally prefer OEM hoses only for the short piece of metal tubing that routes the hose away from wheel and controls how it moves as the spindle turns left and right. I should go ahead and state that there is very little in the aftermarket that I do like.
Good luck shouldn't even be required when it comes to brakes. Good engineering negates the need for luck.
